The Phone Jack Override is designed to exclude all phone on the alarm once the Security System has been activated. Normally you would have to wire in a RJ31X connection block; this gives you an alternative thus allowing you to avoid the difficult task of rearranging your telephone wiring.

Order one for each telephone set installed on your telephone service; If you use cordless telephones (Better solution for line protection within your Home or Business) purchase one Phone Jack Override for your main cordless phone; this will automatically exclude other extensions within your premise (multiline cordless - install the jack on the line that is associated with your alarm's monitoring service).

Note: You must always keep all telephones on the hook, as this device gives priority to the first telephone that grabs the line. The "Best Option and Recommendation" for line disruption protection is to use a wireless communications device in conjunction with your security system monitoring (special equipment and additional service from a cellular provider will be required - email us for additional information). info@A4Alarms.com
