The A4Alarms Photoelectric Smoke Detector is a battery-powered photoelectric smoke alarm with a built-in transmitter to signal your A4Alarms Wireless Security Panel when smoke is detected, when its battery is low, and hourly to deliver status updates. When smoke is detected, the alarm sounds a loud local alarm. Twenty seconds after the local alarm sounds, the built-in transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal to your security panel. The wireless signal will be repeated every 20 seconds as long as smoke is still present.
